Real Madrid travel to face French side Lille on Wednesday evening in a Champions League clash in the league phase of the European competition.
Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is expected to miss the tie due to a muscle injury he suffered during the club’s Madrid Derby clash on Sunday.
This paves the way for Real Madrid’s Champions League hero Andriy Lunin to take the stage in place of the Belgian.
The other biggest debate ahead of the fixture was about whether French superstar Kylian Mbappe would feature for Ancelotti’s side.
The Real Madrid manager seemed to indicate that the superstar striker would be starting, with Ancelotti saying he would start so as long as there is no risk of aggravating his recent injury.
There is also a debate over whether Jude Bellingham might start or whether Ancelotti may give a starting place to Turkish starlet Arda Güler.
Real Madrid head into the fixture with a hot unbeaten streak of 11 matches, so they will be fancying their chances of getting a positive result on Wednesday night.
Predicted Real Madrid XI vs Lille
Andriy Lunin – Ferland Mendy, Éder Militão, Antonio Rudiger, Dani Carvajal – Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, Arda Güler – Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo
