Tom Krauß appears to be nearing a move to 1.FC Köln, according to the latest update from Sky Germany.
The midfielder looks set to join the newly promoted Bundesliga side on loan for the 2025-26 campaign.
After very positive talks took place in early June with Köln boss Thomas Kessler, Krauß was open to a move ever since.
Transfer journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that the Mainz man, who is still under contract until 2027, is in advanced negotiations with Effzeh.
Last season, the 23-year-old was out on loan at VfL Bochum for whom he made 14 appearances for the Rührpott club.
