Harry Kane lifts a major trophy for the first time in his career. The 31-year-old striker scored Bayern’s first goal in the 2-0 win over Gladbach before the much-awaited trophy ceremony.
It’s also a big occasion for Bayern fans after Bayer Leverkusen interrupted their trophy streak last campaign. Vincent Kompany failed to deliver in cup competitions, but he was able to beat Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen in the title race.
The England captain now has 25 league goals as he gets closer to winning Torjägerkanon once again. Meanwhile, Thomas Müller extended the Bundesliga record of most titles with his 13th and last championship win.
