Kevin Kampl is reportedly close to signing a new contract with RB Leipzig.
According to Sky Germany, Leipzig and Kampl are in advanced talks over a contract until 2026.
The 33-year-old central midfielder’s current deal expires at the end of the season.
He has been playing for Leipzig since 2017, at which point he joined the club from Bayer Leverkusen.
Sky also reports that Leipzig are working on new deals for two other experienced members of the squad, Yussuf Poulsen and Lukas Klostermann.
Poulsen confirmed yesterday at the Danish national team camp that talks are underway to extend his contract.
