Serie A giants Juventus are unlikely to land Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz, amidst links with a move for the Spaniard.
Sections of the Italian media has written about Juve’s interest in the ex-Napoli man and Daniele Longo has reported about the situation. It is stated that Juve held a meeting with several representatives of YouFirst, one of the leading agencies in Spanish football and they also represent Fabian Ruiz.
Cristiano Guintoli asked for information about several players and there is a possibility that information was sought about Fabian as well. In fact, the Spaniard was of special focus for the Bianconeri and they tested the waters for the PSG man.
Having said that, the chances of them landing the 27-year-old are rather slim and a lot of it is because of his wages. He currently earns €6 million per season and that is out of Juve’s price range. More than that, PSG see Fabian as an important player despite the fact that he hasn’t played regularly.
PSG also do not want to open up to the possibility of a loan deal. That is why signing a Premier League midfielder remains a more likely option, with Kalvin Phillips and Thomas Partey appearing to be key targets.
