As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Juventus will decide today whether to sign Memphis Depay or not from Barcelona.
Last week Barcelona and the Dutchman agreed to terminate the player’s contract if he manages to arrive at an agreement to sign for Juventus.
However, it appears as though negotiations between the Italian club and Depay are stalling. Even though the two clubs have negotiated a deal over the transfer of the player, the 28-year-old is yet to agree a contract with Juventus.
It is believed that the Dutch international is asking for a two-year contract valued at €7 million a season, with the option of extending it by an extra year. Juventus are currently considering cheaper alternatives, with Arkadiusz Milik being on Vecchia Signora’s radar.
Barcelona hope that Juventus and Depay will reach an agreement soon as the player’s sale would allow them to reduce their wage bill and thus register Jules Koundé.
