Serie A giants Juventus are interested in the possibility of landing Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo.
The Bianconeri want to sign a new centre-back this month and La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Cristiano Guintoli is intrigued by the situation of Araujo, whose profile also has the approval of manager Thiago Motta.
Soon, Guintoli will soon explore the move further as Araujo is appreciated for his skillset and experience. Juve have noted that Araujo has played only once this season due to injury and they will soon speak to Barcelona about a potential deal, to know if he can be signed on a loan deal.
For now, Barcelona aren’t looking to move the Uruguayan. Kevin Danso is another target for Juve and Antonio Silva also remains a target. Contact for the Austrian centre-back could also be made soon and the club’s goal is to sign one defender by next week.
