Serie A sides Juventus and Milan are expected to go into a transfer battle in January for Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly.
According to a tweet by Daniele Longo, Juventus and Milan are set to compete for signing Lloyd Kelly during the winter transfer window despite Bournemouth’s reluctance to sell the player.
The defender’s contract with the Premier League club ends next summer and talks are yet to be initiated by The Cherries for his renewal. This situation is opening the door for the 25-year-old for a transfer to one of the Serie A giants in January.
Clubs will be able to sign him Kelly for free two months from now but will have to wait for his arrival until next season. However, things could be accelerated if any team wants to offer a nominal transfer fee but it is hard to see this kind of a deal happening.
We will have to wait a few more days for more developments regarding this matter.
