João Félix is considering leaving Atlético Madrid in January, according to Cope.
The Portuguese forward was left on the bench during the club’s 0-0 draw with Club Brugge on Wednesday.
As reported by Cope, Félix does not see a spot in the team under Diego Simeone and will not wait for the Argentine head coach to leave the club.
Yannick Carrasco, Álvaro Morata, Rodrigo De Paul, Matheus Cunha and Axel Witsel all came on as Atlético looked for a goal at the Metropolitano against Brugge. Simeone sent a clear message to João Félix by leaving him on the bench for the entire game.
Atlético paid €127m for the 22-year-old from Benfica in 2019. He has failed to score in 11 appearances in all competitions this season.
The Portugal international has a contract at the Metropolitano until 2026.
