Antonio Rüdiger has spent most of the 2025/26 season on the sidelines with a serious thigh injury.
However, as the Real Madrid and Germany centre-back told RTL/ntv and Sport.de on Sunday evening, his recovery is progressing well.
“I’ve finally reached the final stage of my rehab,” Rüdiger said, adding that the enforced break has had a positive impact mentally.
“I have to say, these months have been good for me. I needed this time to mentally switch off and relax,” he explained.
The 32-year-old is hopeful of returning to action soon.
“I don’t want to say too much, but you’ll see me again soon,” Rüdiger stressed.
