Inter studying move for Real Madrid’s Nacho

Serie A champions Inter are considering the possibility of signing Real Madrid defender Nacho in the summer transfer window.

The Spaniard has already announced that he would depart the club at the end of the season and La Gazzetta dello Sport state that while playing in the MLS is his priority, Nacho has always had a keen admiration for the Serie A and has always kept a close eye on things in Italy.

The opportunity of signing a player of Nacho’s experience and pedigree tempts Inter, who already have Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij on their books. The initial idea was to not move away from Acerbi or De Vrij but Inter also know that it is difficult to find a player like Nacho on a free transfer.

Therefore, Inter are considering the possibility of a move. If De Vrij wants to move back to the Netherlands, Inter won’t oppose his exit and will try to sign Nacho to replace the Dutchman. The Spaniard has recently rejected a move to Bayer Leverkusen and Inter have previously spoken to his entourage and they could have an advantage in the saga.
