Manchester United have offered Inter a chance to sign Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek, with the Nerazzurri making considerations about the player.
Inter have already held talks with Ajax for Davy Klaassen and he seems to be the club’s priority on deadline day so far, but the Nerazzurri haven’t stopped reflecting on some other names.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that while Klaassen is at the top of the shortlist, Van de Beek is second. United have offered Inter the chance to land the midfielder, who has had an unimpressive spell at Old Trafford. Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has previously had an obsession with Van de Beek and wanted to sign him during the Dutchman’s time at Ajax.
A chance has arisen once again and reflections are underway at Inter. There are no doubts about Van de Beek’s quality but Inter are concerned about how the last three seasons have gone, even though a move would be financially viable. United are willing to pay a majority of Van de Beek’s wages as part of the loan move and that makes the deal rather favourable.
But Van de Beek’s recent three seasons have made sure that the balance has tipped in Klaassen’s favour.
