Having picked up the Sportschau Goal of the Year Award, Bayern Munich’s Luis Díaz reflected on the personal achievement.
The Colombian netted the award-winning goal against 1.FC Union Berlin in November, whipping the ball over Frederik Ronnøw from an improbable angle to score.
“I found a very good team, a family, with a very good coach. It’s easy to feel comfortable here,” he told Sportschau.
“I want to win everything with this team, all tournaments, all competitions. We worked hard and showed that we’re ready for that.
“We should just keep going with the same attitude. From a personal perspective, I just want to contribute and help the team with many goals and assists,” he added.
In his 19 Bundesliga appearances to date, the 29-year-old has provided 10 goals and 8 assists for the reigning German champions.
