LIV Golf faces a tough period as the company undergoes major restructuring of its operations during a financial crisis after recently filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
LIV had originally started with backing from Saudi Arabia, in particular the Public Investment Fund (PIF), attracting big players from the PGA Tour and offering huge financial sums to lure them to the new project.
However, the PIF withdrew its funding from the tour, forcing LIV to file for bankruptcy. Chapter 11 bankruptcy allows the corporation to continue operating as usual whilst it undergoes restructuring, securing investment from BC Partners Credit. Staff have been offloaded whilst players continue to leave their contracts, with some walking away from contracts in which they are owed millions.
Due to bankruptcy filings, some assets and liabilities were forced to be presented in court documents available to the public, including the payslips of Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau.
It doesn’t stop there, however, with all 13 teams in the competition having their earnings from the past three seasons being released.
13-7 Highest Earning Teams
Following the court proceedings, the table of all 13 teams’ gross revenue over three years was published, and fans can now understand how much each team was earning.
Cleeks were ranked the lowest across the three years, earning just over half a million dollars. The table highlights a significant revenue gap between the lower-earning teams across the three seasons. Cleeks were the only team not to generate over one million dollars of revenue, with the team just one spot ahead of them, Southern Guards, able to generate double the revenue across the three years.
The table also highlights how individual seasons can influence the overall rankings. Some teams have maintained a steady income each year, whilst some have benefited from one strong year, such as the seventh-place HyFlyers, who were able to generate over $2.5 million of revenue in the 2025 season alone.

6-1 Highest Earning Teams
The upper end of the rankings is dominated by a handful of teams that have been able to generate a much more stable, yet significant, amount of revenue across the three years. Korean Golf Club, Torque and Majesticks occupy sixth, fifth and fourth, each recording combined earnings of between $3.76 million and $4.38 million. Fireballs GC are third with $4.3 million, putting them ahead of the rest of the chasing pack.
However, the top two are a step above the rest. Legion XIII ranks second, managing to achieve a revenue of 16 million dollars, a 12 million dollar jump on third-placed Fireballs. Their revenues are driven by strong figures across all three years, including more than $8.36 million in 2026 alone.
Crushers GC led by an even wider margin, finishing with a three-year total of $23.83 million. After recording just over $10 million in 2025, they were able to take it higher in 2026, reaching $13 million, making them standout earners. The figures of the top two show how concentrated the highest revenues are, pulling millions ahead of the other 11 teams.
