According to MARCA, Kylian Mbappé (25) might have to wait until the UEFA Super Cup to make his Real Madrid debut. If France reach the semi-finals of EURO 2024 in Germany, this means that the France captain will miss the Champions League winners’ preseason tour of the United States.
With Mbappé unable to attend Madrid’s preseason tour of the USA if France reach the latter stages of the European Championships, the 25-year-old could then have to wait until the 14th of August to make his debut for Los Merengues. Whilst the France international would have hoped to don the famous white jersey earlier than the middle of August, Mbappé could enjoy a memorable debut for Madrid with silverware potentially on the line.
After their 15th Champions League win against Borussia Dortmund, the La Liga champions have confirmed their place in the UEFA Super Cup. Madrid will face Serie A side Atalanta after they defeated Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final. The Super Cup is set to take place in Poland.
