The defending DFB-Pokal winners VfB Stuttgart will hope to progress to the last four as they play away at Holstein Kiel. The visitors started the new year in excellent form, while Kiel are still in the bottom half of the 2. Bundesliga.

Deniz Undav will start up front, with Ermedin Demirovic on the bench for the Bundesliga outfit. Kiel’s captain Steven Skrzybski is out of the matchday squad.
