Danish international forward Kasper Dolberg has joined Hoffenheim on loan from Nice.

Hoffenheim have confirmed the signing of 25-year-old forward Kasper Dolberg on loan from OGC Nice until the end of the season.
“Kasper is a centre-forward who is characterised by his intelligent style of play as well as his excellent ball handling, his dynamism and a certain physicality,” commented Hoffenheim director of football Alexander Rosen.

“He can be a goal threat at any time with clever runs and, in addition to his quality in finishing, he has the ability to tie the ball up well with his back to goal.

“We are convinced that he can add a component to our game that we don’t yet have in this form in our squad and, also in light of our personnel situation in attack, we are glad that the opportunity has arisen to acquire such a player.”

The 25-year-old Danish international spent the first half of the season on loan at Sevilla, making eight appearances with an assist to his name.
