Brajan Gruda has been forced to leave the Germany camp due to an injury.

Mainz prodigy Brajan Gruda has been training with Germany’s Euro 2024 squad since May 26 and was due to continue for a few more days.

However, the 20-year-old has been forced to leave the German camp early due to a calf injury, the German Football Association announced on Wednesday.

In addition to Gruda, Gladbach’s Rocco Reitz has been training with the senior team recently, strengthening the provisional squad of Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann.

On Thursday, the German national team will travel to Mönchengladbach for their final friendly before the start of the European Championship against Greece on Friday evening.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side drew 0-0 with Ukraine in their first warm-up friendly.
