Granada star Bryan Zaragoza wanted by RB Leipzig

It’s no secret that Emil Forsberg wants to leave RB Leipzig after nine years but the Swede will only be allowed to depart if a successor is found. According to Kicker, the Bundesliga side have identified Granada’s Bryan Zaragoza (22) as a candidate to replace Forsberg.

Zaragoza has a contract at Granada until 2027 and as reported by Spanish outlet Relevo, via Kicker, the Spaniard has a reported €14m release clause.

With a market value of €8m, per Transfermarkt, Zaragoza is enjoying a breakout season with seven goal contributions (five goals and two assists) in 13 La Liga games this season. The winger’s form also resulted in a call-up to the national team, and was subsequently awarded his La Roja by Luis de la Fuente on October 12.

Zaragoza scored both goals against Barcelona in a 2-2 draw on October 8.

But if Leipzig are to land Zaragoza, they will have to compete with Premier League side who, according to Relevo, are also showing an interest in the Spaniard.
