Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle are among the teams following Celta Vigo player Gabri Veiga closely.
Scouts from these three clubs, as well as another from the Bundesliga, have visited Spain on several occasions over the last few months to watch him live.
Journalist Pacojó Delgado, speaking on Cadena SER in Spain, says that Real Madrid have also been impressed by Veiga this season, report AS.
The 20-year-old has a release clause of €40m and has changed his agent, which is something that could change the direction of his future. Pini Zahavi, Robert Lewandowski’s agent among others, is in contention to represent him going forward.
Currently enjoying an outstanding season at Celta, Veiga’s days at Balaídos could be numbered and now Real Madrid could also be in the running to clinch his signature.
His impressive 2022-23 season has seen him score eight goals and provide three assists in 24 league games for the Galician club. Veiga was also named Player of the Month for February by La Liga.
