Sport Bild is linking Eintracht Frankfurt with a move for Hoffenheim’s Christoph Baumgartner.

With Jesper Lindstrøm and especially Daichi Kamada reportedly heading for the exit door at Frankfurt, Baumgartner could fill a gap in the midfield for Eintracht.

Kicker reported about a week ago that Baumgartner is expected to leave Hoffenheim at the end of the season. The 23-year-old has a €30 million release clause, which will drop to around €15 million if Hoffenheim are relegated.

Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with a move for Baumgartner, while Chelsea are also said to be keeping tabs on the Hoffenheim star.
