Former Bristol City goalkeeper Stefan Bajic (23) is on trial at Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg Alsace, according to a report from Les DNA via L’Équipe.
The former France youth international joined the EFL Championship side back in 2023 but has now left the club upon the expiry of his contract. A free agent, he is on the search for a new club. BlueCo side Strasbourg have now shown an interest in the shotstopper and have taken him on board for a trial period.
Bajic is already training with Strasbourg, Les DNA understands. He was at the club’s Meinau training ground on Thursday morning and will be part of the club’s pre-season training camp in Austria. His trial period is expected to last around a month.
Regardless of Bajic’s future, Strasbourg are expected to welcome a new goalkeeper to the club imminently. Chelsea’s Mike Penders is set to join on loan.
