Despite their struggles to secure gold, Arsenal have been on a meteoric rise back to the top of the Premier League under Mikel Arteta in the past few years. The Gunners haven’t been shy about spending huge sums of money to get back into the title picture, though, and this is shown in their wage bill.
The north London club have signed some of the biggest stars around in recent transfer windows and have also splashed the cash on securing long-term deals for their most important assets. That said, below is a full list of the Arsenal players’ wages. There are some surprises among this list, as record signing Declan Rice and star man Bukayo Saka aren’t the best-paid players at the Emirates Stadium.
Goalkeepers
David Raya’s move from Brentford to Arsenal was made permanent during the summer of 2024, following an excellent spell between the sticks for the north Londoners, where he won the Golden Glove. After signing new terms in October 2025, the Spanish shot-stopper is now pocketing £120,000 per week for his efforts at the Emirates Stadium, having been rewarded with a £20,000 increase (via Salary Leaks) for proving himself among the best goalkeepers in the business.
The Gunners managed to shift Aaron Ramsdale’s substantial £120,000-per-week salary off their books, selling their back-up goalkeeper to Southampton last summer. In his place, Chelsea’s Kepa Arrizabalaga joined, following loan stints at Real Madrid and Bournemouth, and will earn £60,000 every seven days as a result.
Per Salary Leaks, 17-year-old Jack Porter makes just £850 per week as the club’s third-choice goalkeeper.

Defenders
William Saliba and Gabriel have grown to be the best central defensive partnership in the English top flight. The duo have been equally impressive on the pitch in three successive title charges and they’ve both been rewarded with big contracts in recent times.
Gabriel is earning £150,000 per week, while Saliba has put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal worth £250,000-per-week, according to the Sun.

20 Highest-Paid Centre-Backs in the Premier League (2024)
Leny Yoro, Virgil van Dijk and John Stones feature among the 20 highest-paid central defenders in the Premier League.
In the full-back positions, Ben White takes home a healthy £150,000 each week. The Englishman spent much of last season sidelined through injury, but will no doubt play a key role in Arteta’s plans for the 2025/26 season as he also looks to reclaim a place in the national team setup.
Last summer, Arsenal confirmed the arrival of Riccardo Calfiori from Bologna, with the Italian defender earning £120,000 a week. Meanwhile, Jurrien Timber also earns less than £100,000 per week, though he could be in for a pay rise after his contributions last term, which saw him fill in all across the backline where key injuries left some gaping holes.
The highly-rated Cristhian Mosquera, signed from Valencia this summer, is earning £55,500-per-week at the club. Still just 21 years old, he could be a key player for the club for many years to come.
Breakthrough talent Myles Lewis-Skelly is one of the highest-earning teenagers in world football. He put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract worth £45,000 per week this summer, a cool sum for someone who has only played one professional season so far.
Jakub Kiwior left and took his £58,000 wages with him to Porto on deadline day, but was instantly replaced by Piero Hincapie, who will pick up £65k-p/w while on loan from Bayer Leverkusen before his transfer turns permanent next summer.

Midfielders
Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard are among the best midfielders in the Premier League. The pair have been vital in Arteta’s engine room in the past few years and both are believed to take home £240,000 per week for their efforts.
Eberechi Eze’s performances for Crystal Palace and England over the past few years convinced Arsenal to fork out £67.5m and he put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal worth £180,000 per week.

Every Current Premier League Captain [Ranked]
From Reece James to Virgil van Dijk, these are how the Premier League captains stack up against one another.
Martin Zubimendi joined the Gunners’ ranks, and the former Real Sociedad anchor – who was high on the wishlists of both Real Madrid and Liverpool – is reportedly earning around £75,000 per week for the privilege of playing alongside Rice and Odegaard. That’s £10,000 per week more than Christian Norgaard. Mikel Merino, who had to fill in as a striker for large chunks of the 2024/25 campaign, earns £130,000 per week.

Forwards
It comes as a surprise that Kai Havertz is Arsenal’s highest-paid player. His switch from Chelsea to Arsenal raised eyebrows, but was clearly a good move for the 26-year-old, professionally, financially, and now physically after recently undergoing an impressive body transformation as he’s packed on some muscle.
Gabriel Jesus is well compensated for representing the Gunners after leaving serial winners Manchester City to move to the Emirates. Despite his difficulties in front of goal in recent years, the Brazilian striker is paid more than the vast majority at the club.
Arsenal made it their goal to sign a world-class striker this summer and they landed on Viktor Gyokeres. The Swede is earning £200,000-per-week at the club following his £55 million move from Sporting CP.
There’s only £15,000 between exciting wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, who are both likely to break the £200,000-per-week mark when they are next handed contract extensions. Leandro Trossard has had a fruitful 18 months at the club and has more than repaid his £90,000 weekly salary with several huge goals. Ethan Nwaneri’s £80,000-per-week salary is now more reflective of his growth from youth prospect to senior regular.
Noni Madueke made the surprise move from Chelsea to Arsenal this summer and is said to be making £150,000 per week. Finally, wonderkid Max Dowman is still only on an academy scholarship contract, so he’ll earn just £350 until he turns 17 and is old enough to agree to senior terms, per Salary Leaks.
