Emanuel Emegha, who suffered a hamstring injury against Olympique de Marseille at the end of September, is still not fit to return and will therefore miss Friday night’s match against Paris Saint-Germain, as per a report from L’Équipe.
It is a blow for RC Strasbourg Alsace, who may have to do without their club captain for another fortnight, at the very least. The Dutchman will perhaps not return during the month of October, and there is the possibility that he will not even feature before the next international break.
Emegha, however, isn’t the only absentee that Liam Rosenior will have to contend with on Friday night. As per L’Équipe, Strasbourg will also be without Chelsea loanee Mamadou Sarr, who has been recovering from a thigh injury that he sustained at the end of September.
Sébastien Nanasi will, however, return to the fold for RCSA, having spent a month sidelined due to a shoulder injury.
