Thibaut Courtois is Real Madrid’s main absentee going into Sunday’s Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Andriy Lunin will start in goal for Carlo Ancelotti’s side and midfielder Dani Ceballos will miss out through injury.
Possible Real Madrid XI vs Barcelona
Lunin – Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy – Tchouaméni, Kroos, Modric – Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius.
Madrid have won El Clásico on 100 occasions, while Barca have won it 97 times. In 2022-23, Madrid have picked up 22 points from their opening eight league games and a win on Sunday would see them leapfrog Xavi’s side, who are currently top of the table.
