Borussia Dortmund have confirmed a new long-term contract for 19-year-old centre-back Filippo Mané.
The Black and Yellows announced on Monday that the youngster has penned a professional contract until 2028.
“Filippo has developed very well with us over the last three years and has earned this professional contract,” said sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
“We want to continue on this path with him and continue to support him because he has the right attitude and we still see a lot of potential in him.”
Mané, who joined Dortmund from Sampdoria in January 2022, said:
“Borussia Dortmund is a great club. I feel very comfortable here and I am happy to continue wearing this shirt. My goal is to continue improving and, after playing for the youth teams, to be on the pitch with the first team soon.”
