According to L’ÉQUIPE, RC Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa (21) is back in training with the first team, following his hamstring injury which he suffered in the Ligue 1 clash against Clermont, back in the start of November.
This comes as a surprise as the Girondins de Bordeaux academy graduate had initially been ruled out for a minimum of six weeks, though it has only been two since the injury. The youngster has resumed training since last Friday, without ever showing signs of struggling.
Bakwa joined Strasbourg back in August, transferring from boyhood club Bordeaux against €10 million, off the back of a very promising season in Ligue 2, which saw him score five goals and hand out seven assists in the 35 appearances that he made. The Frenchman has since featured 10 times for Patrick Vieira’s side, starting five of those games. He could feature in le Racing’s next Ligue 1 fixture, against 10th place and struggling Olympique de Marseille, at the Stade de la Meinau.
