Sandro Schwarz’s time as coach of Hertha BSC has reportedly come to an end following the club’s embarrassing 5-2 defeat to relegation candidates Schalke 04 on Friday.
Several sources, including Sky Germany and Kicker, claim that Schwarz has been relieved of his duties, with Pal Dardai set to replace him on a contract until the end of the season.
Dardai worked for Hertha for many years after retiring from the game and has already had two spells as the club’s head coach, most recently between January and November 2021.
Hertha currently sit bottom of the Bundesliga table, two points behind Schalke 04 and Stuttgart.
