Crystal Palace are determined to strengthen their defence during the upcoming January transfer window, as per a report from Franco-Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
As Tavolieri has previously revealed, Bayern Munich’s French full-back Sacha Boey has emerged as a priority target, and Crystal Palace may have already submitted an offer for the player. However, the Premier League side have also lined up alternatives, including KRC Genk’s Zakaria El Ouahdi.
El Ouahdi turns down potential Everton move
The Eagles aren’t the only interested party in the Premier League, however, with Everton also enquiring about the Moroccan defender. However, it is understood that he has declined a move to the Merseyside club.
Crystal Palace therefore lead for El Ouahdi, who is currently valued at between €10-12m by his club. The Belgian club are not opposed to a sale next month and remain pragmatic about the fee that they can garner for their prospect.
