The latest word stemming from the media surrounding the future of Lille sensation and known Real Madrid target Leny Yoro will no doubt be met with concern on the part of all of a Blancos persuasion.
This comes amid claims that the 18-year-old has opened contract negotiations with a rival suitor.
The club in question? Manchester United.
The Red Devils are widely understood to have seen an opening offer for Yoro accepted by Lille last week, with only the will of the player to join Real Madrid having prevented further developments.
With the Spanish champions yet to return with a counter-offer of their own, however, the brass at Old Trafford have begun actively pushing the defensive sensation to change his mind.
As per a report from French transfer insider Santi Aouna:
‘Contractual negotiations with Man United have been initiated with his agent. Red Devils are pushing to complete the deal.’
Not only that, but it is added:
‘Some members of Yoro’s entourage are in favor of joining Manchester United.’
Over to you, Real Madrid…
