Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier is keeping his focus on the present and is not worried about his future at the club, according to his post-match comments transcribed by RMC Sport. After PSG’s recent 2-0 defeat to Rennes at the Parc des Princes, Galtier says his attention is on the remaining ten matches of the season and securing the Ligue 1 title.
Galtier explained, “I’m not thinking about the future. I’m only focused on winning the championship. We need to win the remaining matches and play well. I’m trying to be objective and motivate my players. We can’t give up now. The season is still on, and there are other competitors in the running. I’m not anxious or passive; I’m determined to make sure we become champions.”
Paris Saint-Germain are currently ten points ahead of their rivals Marseille in the Ligue 1 standings following their exit from the Champions League against Bayern Munich. However, the season for the Parisians seems to be winding down, with the 2-0 defeat by Rennes posing question marks over Galtier’s future.
