After missing Bayern’s win over Augsburg due to back problems, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting wasn’t in training today.

Bayern Munich began their preparations for Sunday’s Bundesliga match against Bayer Leverkusen without Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting today.

The striker missed Saturday’s 5-3 win over Augsburg with a back problem that is still causing him problems.

Today, he ran just wo laps around the pitch before returning to the dressing room, as reported by Sky Germany.

According to Kicker, an MRI scan didn’t provide a clear diagnosis.

Choupo-Moting has become a regular starter for the Bavarians this season, scoring 17 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions.
