Chelsea are the Premier League side ‘making the inquiries’ about Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has informed GiveMeSport.
The 22-year-old has been linked with an imminent exit from the Allianz Stadium following their struggles both on and off the pitch despite only arriving from Fiorentina one year ago.
Chelsea transfer news – Dusan Vlahovic
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea will ‘actively work to find a new striker’ in January after Armando Broja suffered an ACL injury in a friendly with Aston Villa.
That has left Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the only natural option for Graham Potter upfront, meaning he is now expected to dip into the transfer market.
Jacobs previously disclosed that there is a ‘very real possibility’ that Vlahovic leaves Juventus in 2023 with a winter exit not being ruled out as several clubs, including Chelsea, have been in touch with his agent.

And now, Italian outlet Il Corriere dello Sport have claimed that the Blues, Arsenal and Manchester United are all monitoring the Serbia international’s situation.
Vlahovic’s agent has also stated ‘not to rule anything out’ in terms of his client’s future, while Juve are believed to value the forward at £80 million.
What has Jacobs said about Vlahovic?
In an interview with GMS, Jacobs said: “It’s actually Chelsea, from a Premier League point of view, making the inquiries at this point, and we know that they need a striker as well.

“But I think everybody chasing Vlahovic needs to understand, is January possible, first and foremost, and then if it isn’t, what do they need to do to persuade him to move to the Premier League in January? And what can clubs learn from the Arsenal situation?
“And also, what is his injury situation? Because right now, if you get him in January, he’s got a groin problem that is still under investigation. But Chelsea are looking a bit more seriously at him and obviously a number of other strikers because of the Armando Broja situation.”
Would Vlahovic be a good signing?
Vlahovic established himself as one of Serie A’s leading marksmen during his time with Fiorentina, registering 49 goals and eight assists in 108 appearances across all competitions.
The 6 foot 3 ace has struggled to hit the same heights since making the switch to Juve, though, finding the back of the net on 16 occasions in 36 outings while setting up four further strikes.
A move to Chelsea could reignite Vlahovic’s career and breathe new life into the capital club’s stuttering season, proving beneficial to both parties.
