Chelsea have announced the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City on a five-year contract.
The 25-year-old has joined the Blues in a deal worth £30 million.
Dewberry-Hall was a key member of Leicester’s first team last season as they clinched the Championship title to make an immediate return to the Premier League.
The English footballer expressed his delight at moving to Stamford Bridge.
He said: “It is amazing to be sitting here as a Chelsea player. This is a club people grow up watching and hoping to one day play for, so it is a privilege to be here.
“I’m really excited to get going and can’t wait to show everybody what I can do.”
The midfielder featured in 44 league games, bagging 12 goals and 14 assists.
His future in the Midlands has been the source of speculation this summer despite being contracted with the Foxes until 2027.
He appeared to be heading to Brighton & Hove Albion after they agreed to a swap deal involving Jakub Moder.
However, the move ultimately fell through, which allowed Chelsea to swoop for him.
The Blues have been very busy in the summer transfer window.
They brought in centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer and secured a £19m deal for Omari Kellyman.
Marc Guiu also arrived in a £5m move from Barcelona on Monday.
