Carlos Soler (27) has never truly established himself at Paris Saint-Germain, since his arrival at the Ligue 1 side back in the summer of 2022.
PSG have continued to recruit heavily in the midfield, last season adding Manuel Ugarte and Lee Kang-in to the mix. In the season that Soler arrived, Les Parisiens also signed Fabián Ruiz, Vitinha and Renato Sanches. Competition has always been high for a starting spot and Soler has consequently found his game time severely limited.
In his two full seasons at the Parc des Princes, the Spain international has nonetheless played 63 times, including 28 appearances in all competitions last season. However, it is thought that the Spaniard’s future lies away from PSG. Le Parisien understands that Les Parisiens are looking to sell Soler this summer.
Earlier in the summer, Aston Villa, who will next season compete in the UEFA Champions League, were heavily linked with the Spaniard, however, Le Parisien now reports that Brighton and Hove Albion, who have previously been linked with the former Valencia midfielder, retain their interest too and could yet make a move this summer.
