As we enter the final week of the transfer window, Borussia Dortmund are moving to strengthen their squad. Kevin Schade has been a long-term target for Die Schwarzgelben, but they must now cough up at least €50m to sign the German.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Brentford demand between €50m and €60m for Schade (23) who has scored five and created two in 22 Premier League games this season. But a move for the Germany international would only be made possible with the sale of Karim Adeyemi. Napoli are currently in talks to sign Adeyemi and are willing to pay €52.5m to sign the Dortmund attacker as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Should Adeyemi leave, then a replacement will almost certainly be brought in with Donyell Malen leaving for Aston Villa earlier in the window. That would leave BVB with Julien Duranville and Jamie Gittens as the only natural wide players.
