Premier League side Brentford are in advanced talks with Senegalese international and Strasbourg striker Habib Diallo, according to our colleagues at Sports Zone.
The 28-year-old target man and Generation Foot graduate has had a number of interested parties entering into talks with his entourage over the course of this summer transfer window so far, including Ligue 1 sides RC Lens and Rennes, as well as Saudi Arabian 1st division outfit Al-Shabab.
However, the first club to make a concrete approach is the Thomas Frank-led Brentford side. Our colleagues at Sports Zone believe that the Bees will imminently submit an opening proposal for the player to the BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 side.
Diallo, who has scored 53 Ligue 1 goals in 150 appearances, is open to a move to England and is under contract with RCSA until June 2025.
Strasbourg have made a number of attacking signings so far this window and appear open to the player’s departure.
