Die Werderaner could part ways with their 37-year-old gaffer if an agreement can’t be reached.
An early parting of ways between head coach Ole Werner and Werder Bremen is possible, Sky Germany believes.
As things stand, Werner decided to snub his contract extension at Bremen today, which runs until the summer of 2026.
The decision to separate has not been finally decided yet whilst talks between the two parties are ongoing.
Werder boss Clemens Fritz has been assessing the coaching market for weeks in order to be prepared for this situation.
