Julian Brandt has admitted that he doesn’t know if his future lies at Borussia Dortmund or somewhere else.
The 26-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer of 2024, told Sport1:

does not dare make any predictions about his own future.

“Everything is open for me. I feel good here, but who knows which way the wind will blow?

“If everything goes well here, we are in each other’s arms and I extend my contract, then I would be happy. But anything can happen.”

Brandt added that he could imagine returning to his hometown Bremen to play for Werder before the end of his career.

“I have a special relationship there. It doesn’t have to happen, it was more of a spontaneous reaction to other players moving to the desert. That (moving to Bremen) would be more my thing,” he noted.
