According to L’Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola (21) will be out for weeks after the Frenchman picked up an injury during the under-23s fixture against the Ivory Coast.
Barcola was hit behind the left thigh 25 minutes into his appearance for Thierry Henry’s squad, as France went on to win 3-2 in the first of their two friendlies this weekend. However, the second against the United States will have to be without the winger after he returned to the club to undergo an examination.
Bradley Barcola could be out for Marseille and Barcelona matches
An MRI taken this morning has revealed that he has suffered from a hamstring injury. However, the severity is not yet known, but at a minimum, it is thought that he will miss the next few games for PSG. This means that Barcola will not be there for the Le Classique next weekend, and will likely be a doubt for the opening leg of the club’s Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona.
