Bournemouth v Aston Villa Predicted Starting Lineups for Premier League Match Amid Tielemans Update

Bournemouth and Aston Villa will go head-to-head in the Premier League at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening, with both teams chasing a spot in European competition next season.

Andoni Iraola’s side claimed a surprise 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium last week and currently sit in 8th place in the table, while Unai Emery’s side claimed a 1-0 win over Fulham thanks to Youri Tielemans’ header.

Both sides have got some injury concerns ahead of the game which gives the managers some decisions to make, and this is how GIVEMESPORT expect the teams to line up.

The Cherries will be without several first-team regulars for the game as Iraola looks to cement a place in Europe next season after an impressive season.

Winger Dango Ouattara is sidelined with a groin injury and is unlikely to be available for the clash, while Luis Sinisterra may be able to return for the final game of the season following a hamstring problem. Ryan Christie is out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery, while Enes Unal won’t return until later in the year due to an ACL issue suffered in January.

Iraola Drops Team News Update

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Iraola shared an update on his squad ahead of the game.

“Dango [Ouattara] is out. It’s probably not very long term but we are talking about three games remaining, so I really don’t expect him for these three games.

“He has a muscle injury in the abductor, it’s a muscle injury so it’s a proper injury. Dango is normally very quick to recover, and I cannot say 100% he’s not going to play but in normal conditions, he’s not going to arrive for these three games.

“It’s a shame because I think he was in a great moment – physically and good work rate – but these things happen.

“He tried to continue the other day, even after the injury, I think he played five or six minutes, but the scans are pretty clear and I think he will be out.

“We will have the other three injuries that we had last week, so we will have those four players out – Ryan [Christie], Enes [Ünal], [Luis] Sinisterra and Dango.”

Bournemouth Predicted XI

Semenyo to return

Antoine Semenyo in action for Bournemouth

  • Bournemouth Predicted XI: Kepa; Araujo, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Adams, Cook; Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier; Evanilson.
  • Bournemouth Predicted Substitutes: Dennis (GK), Soler (DEF), Hill (DEF), Smith (DEF), Senesi (DEF), Winterburn (MID), Scott (MID), Brooks (MID), Jebbison (FWD).

Antoine Semenyo was left on the bench against Arsenal but came off the bench to help turn the game around, and with Ouattara out he will certainly come back into the side.

£100,000-a-week duo Marcos Senesi and David Brooks are likely to be on the bench.

Emery Drops Team News Update

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Emery shared an update on his squad ahead of the game.

“He’s [Tielemans] injured and he’s not available for tomorrow.

“We will test him again next week. It’s a small injury and we will test him again next week. He’s not available for tomorrow.”

Aston Villa Predicted XI

Onana to start

Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana celebrating

  • Aston Villa Predicted XI: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Mings, Maatsen; McGinn, Kamara, Onana, Ramsey; Rogers; Watkins.
  • Aston Villa Predicted Substitutes: Olsen (GK), Garcia (DEF), Disasi (DEF), Pau (DEF), Digne (DEF), Barkley (MID), Asensio (FWD), Bailey (FWD), Malen (FWD).

With Tielemans sidelined, it’s a chance for his Belgium colleague Amadou Onana to step into midfield in his place while Jacob Ramsey could start on the left too.

That would leave £260,000-a-week duo Leon Bailey and Donyell Malen on the bench alongside loanees Marco Asensio and Axel Disasi.
