Nick Woltemade recently left VfB Stuttgart and joined Newcastle United for a reported €75million, but rumours suggest the fee could be even higher.
Sport BILD has taken it one step further, suggesting the base transfer fee for the German international is around €85million.
This sum will be paid to the Bundesliga club in three installments over three years. On top of that, there will be a substantial bonus.
Furthermore, the tabloid writes that Stuttgart will receive an additional €2million each if Newcastle wins the Premier League or the Champions League.
If the Magpies reach the semi-final of the Champions League and Woltemade has played 60 percent of the game, they will receive €1million.
The Swabian club will also receive half a million euros if Woltemade becomes the top-scorer in England’s Premier League.
In total, VfB could even receive more than €90million for the 23-year-old who is expected to take on FC Barcelona on Thursday, 18 September.
