Bayern München plan to sit down with Lucas Hernandez to discuss the possibility of extending the French international’s contract.
“Lucas feels very comfortable and is a pillar of our team. We are ready and would like to extend his contract,” Bayern board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic told Bild and continued:
“The two of us will go out for dinner soon. He is a super boy, and we are very happy that he plays for us.
“I already spoke with his agent two or three months ago. We have since met once or twice to have preliminary talks.”
A few days ago, Hernandez revealed his desire to stay for the long term.
“I’m very happy here and I still have two years left on my contract,” Hernandez said.
“Why shouldn’t I stay here longer?”
