Bayern provide injury update on Goretzka

FC Bayern Munich have given an update on Leon Goretzka after he was forced off in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Freiburg.

Leon Goretzka had to come off in the 40th minute of Bayern Munich’s 2-1 win over Freiburg on Saturday.

A scan has now revealed that the midfielder has suffered a muscle strain in his left hamstring.

As a result, Goretzka will be sidelined for “a few days”, FC Bayern confirmed on Sunday.

Goretzka is suspended for Bayern’s upcoming game against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League on Wednesday.
