La Liga giants Barcelona were on Sunday afforded some positive news on the personnel front.
This, of course, comes amid what has proven an altogether difficult 24 hours for Hansi Flick’s troops.
After making the trip to El Sadar on Saturday night, Barca were condemned to a first defeat of the Spanish top-flight campaign, downed by four goals to two by Osasuna.
Adding further to the concerns of the Blaugrana, meanwhile, was a late fitness blow, upon young defender Sergi Domínguez asking to be hooked from proceedings.
The immediate assumption was that Domínguez had suffered some form of injury, ahead of a potential incoming spell on the sidelines.
This, however, has not proven to be the case.
Instead, confirmation has arrived that the 19-year-old was suffering from little more than muscular fatigue on Saturday.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘This Sunday, Domínguez completed training without any apparent problem and did the recovery work with the rest of his teammates.’
