Barcelona star the runaway favourite to secure Euro 2024 Player of the Tournament award

The latest bookmakers’ odds for the Euro 2024 Player of the Tournament confirm a runaway leader in the running for the prize.

The player in question? Lamine Yamal.

The name of wide-man Lamine has of course taken its place back front and centre in the headlines across the continent over the last 12+ hours.

As much comes after the Barcelona sensation was responsible for another sensational individual display.

En route to guiding Spain into the European Championship semi-finals at the expense of France, Lamine lit up the right flank, netting a Goal of the Tournament contender to secure the Man of the Match prize in Munich.

And, as alluded to above, such exploits have only seen the 16-year-old further cement his status as the favourite to scoop POTT honours.

As revealed by Squawka, citing the latest odds provided by Bet365, Lamine now sits at just 2/1 to be named Euro 2024’s best, ahead of compatriots Rodri, and Dani Olmo:
