Barcelona were on Saturday evening dealt a blow on the personnel front.
This came as midfielder Marc Casadó picked up a suspension, which will rule him out of the club’s next La Liga outing.
Barca of course marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Celta Vigo for their first fixture post-international break.
When all was said and done in a testy affair, the Blaugrana were forced to make do with a disappointing share of the spoils, owing to a 2-2 result.
This came after Hansi Flick’s troops surrendered a two-goal advantage inside the closing ten minutes of proceedings.
The catalyst for as much came with 82 minutes on the clock, when the aforementioned Marc Casadó was given his marching orders for a needless jersey pull in the middle of the park.
As much gave rise to a 2nd yellow card, and ensuing red.
Costing his side two points in the La Liga title race aside, Casadó will now be forced to sit out next weekend, too, when Barcelona play host to lowly Las Palmas.
