Barcelona star Alejandro Balde has on Saturday evening confirmed his plans to file a complaint, after being subjected to racial abuse during the club’s meeting with Getafe.
Barca, of course, were back in action a short time ago.
After making the trip to the Estadio Coliseum for a La Liga meeting with the aforementioned Getafe, the Blaugrana were ultimately forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
This came after Jules Koundé’s early opener was cancelled out decisively by the hosts’ Mauro Arambarri late in the first-half.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle in Madrid, Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde was in turn drawn on his side’s latest disappointing league result.
And the 21-year-old went on to admit:
“This is happening too much this season. We play well but we’re not winning enough. We have to finish our chances.”
From here, Balde also went on to reveal that he was the victim of repeated racist abuse at the Coliseum:
“I am going to file a complaint because during the meeting I received many racist insults. I notified the referee.”
