Barcelona have accepted LA Galaxy’s offer for Riqui Puig (22), according to Fabrizio Romano.
The final details of the transfer are currently being discussed on the player’s side. Barça will keep a buy-back option or percentage of any future sale.
As reported by Diario AS, former Barcelona academy player Víctor Vázquez has also helped influence Puig’s decision to play in MLS.
Several Serie A sides were reportedly interested in signing the midfielder but no formal offers were made.
More players are expected to leave the Catalan club in the coming weeks. Earlier on Tuesday, defender Óscar Mingueza joined Celta Vigo on a four-year deal.
Bournemouth are currently negotiating with Barcelona to sign goalkeeper Neto.
According to sources, the two sides have made good progress in the last couple of hours and they hope that they can reach an agreement soon.
The Brazilian keeper has also been linked with Napoli, however, the Italians appear to be prioritising the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea instead.
