La Liga outfit Athletic Club have on Thursday been afforded a double boost on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Iñaki Williams has at last returned to training alongside the rest of Ernesto Valverde’s squad.
Attacker Iñaki has for his part spent the last month-and-a-half on the sidelines, owing to a serious muscular injury.
Across this time, the Ghanaian international missed no fewer than eight of Athletic’s fixtures.
Fresh off a 3-0 drubbing at the hand of Real Madrid on Wednesday, all associated with the Basque outfit will in turn no doubt be delighted to learn of the latest news stemming from Lezama.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, Iñaki today featured in elements of group training for the first time since back in October.
It is as of yet unclear whether as much will culminate in him being called up to face Atlético Madrid this weekend, but whatever the case, Iñaki’s competitive return appears to be inching closer.
